Detailed Objective: This project utilizes social marketing research methods for the development of
a food stamp outreach program tailored to the elderly. After conducting 15 focus
groups drawn from three ethnic groups, the project will construct an outreach
marketing plan and a set of outreach materials. The project will include both
English speaking and non-English speaking focus groups made up of low-income elderly.
The project is designed to provide input to the Food Stamp Program about how the
program can better reach eligible nonparticipating elderly. |
