Detailed Objective: The objectives of this project are to provide the simulations and related technical
expertise needed to estimate the impact of proposed changes to the Food Stamp
Program (FSP). Other objectives include: maintaining and improving microsimulation
capabilities, preparing databases, and conducting supporting research. Reports
will be provided in such areas as FSP eligibility participation and the poverty
population. The cost of the project, which is conducted by Mathematica Policy
Research, Inc., is $778,628 in fiscal 1998. The project's completion is pending
the release of Wave 6 from the 1966 Survey of Income and Program Participation
Panel. |
