Detailed Objective: The study examines forces impacting the social and economic well-being of households in the rural South with an emphasis on factors affecting decisions to participate in the Food Stamp Program. This project is to provide additional support for analysis conducted in tandem with the project "Program Access and Declining Food Stamp Participation." The cooperator will provide outside technical review, written comments, and constructive suggestions on statistical models, as well as a written report.
